Important: By using CodeDoc.us Claude API services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
CodeDoc.us provides managed access to Claude AI (Anthropic's AI assistant) through a controlled API proxy service. We provide:
- Dedicated cloud server infrastructure
- Pre-configured Claude Code CLI access
- Usage monitoring and cost management
- Technical support and maintenance
2. Account and Subscription
2.1 Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2.2 Subscription Plans
We offer multiple subscription tiers with different Claude API usage allocations. Your monthly fee includes:
- Server hosting and infrastructure
- Claude API access up to your plan's limit
- Technical support
- Regular system updates
2.3 Payment Terms
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance via PayPal. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Failure to pay will result in service suspension.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
3.1 Reasonable Use
Your subscription includes a limited monthly allocation of Claude API usage. "Reasonable use" means:
- Using Claude for legitimate development, coding assistance, and business purposes
- Staying within your monthly usage allocation
- Not attempting to circumvent usage limits
- Not sharing your API access with unauthorized users
- Not using automated scripts to make excessive API calls
3.2 Usage Limits
Each subscription plan includes a specific monthly Claude API budget (measured in API cost). When you reach your limit:
- Claude access will be automatically suspended until the next billing cycle
- You will receive notifications at 50%, 80%, and 90% usage thresholds
- You may upgrade to a higher plan at any time for additional usage
- Limits reset on the 1st of each month
3.3 Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use our service for:
- Illegal activities or violating any laws or regulations
- Generating spam, malware, or malicious content
- Attempting to reverse engineer or exploit the service
- Reselling or redistributing API access to third parties
- Harassment, hate speech, or harmful content generation
- Violating Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy
- Excessive automated querying that resembles a denial-of-service attack
- Any activity that impacts service availability for other customers
4. Service Availability
4.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
4.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with reasonable notice. We may also update these terms at any time.
5. Data and Privacy
5.1 Data Collection
We collect and store:
- Account information (email, subscription details)
- Usage statistics (API calls, token usage, costs)
- Server access logs
5.2 Data Usage
Your data is used solely for:
- Providing and improving our service
- Billing and usage monitoring
- Technical support
- Compliance with legal obligations
5.3 Claude API Terms
Your use of Claude is also subject to Anthropic's terms of service. We do not store the content of your Claude conversations. Anthropic may retain data according to their privacy policy.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Service Ownership
CodeDoc.us retains all rights to our infrastructure, software, and service. You receive only a limited license to use the service.
6.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to content you create using Claude. We claim no ownership over your code, documents, or other outputs.
7. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Data loss or corruption
- Errors in Claude's outputs or recommendations
- Business losses or damages
- Third-party actions (including Anthropic service issues)
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS.
8. Termination
8.1 By You
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
8.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
- Violate these terms
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in abusive or illegal activities
- Create security or liability risks
8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to Claude and your server will be immediately revoked
- We will retain usage data for billing and legal purposes
- You are responsible for backing up your data before termination
9. Support and Maintenance
9.1 Technical Support
We provide reasonable technical support via email. Response times vary by subscription tier and issue severity.
9.2 System Updates
We regularly update system software, security patches, and Claude Code versions. Updates may cause brief service interruptions.
10. Fair Use Examples
✅ Acceptable Use Examples:
- Using Claude to write and debug code during work hours
- Asking Claude to review pull requests and suggest improvements
- Having Claude help write documentation or API specs
- Using Claude for learning new programming concepts
- Normal interactive development workflows
❌ Unacceptable Use Examples:
- Running automated scripts that make hundreds of API calls per hour
- Using Claude to generate spam or marketing content in bulk
- Attempting to scrape or archive large amounts of Claude outputs
- Sharing your API key with colleagues or clients
- Running the service 24/7 for automated processing
- Deliberately trying to consume your entire monthly allocation in days
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12.2 Binding Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator.
The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. The arbitration shall be conducted in California.
12.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.
12.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and CodeDoc.us individually. To the full extent permitted by law:
- No arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other
- There is no right or authority for any dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis
- There is no right or authority for any dispute to be brought in a purported representative capacity
12.5 Small Claims Court
Either party may bring a claim in small claims court as an alternative to arbitration, provided the claim qualifies for small claims court jurisdiction.
